Introduction - Flickering In My Mind

Our memories fade,
clouded
like a sun-drenched photo
from decades past.

Years of emotions can recolor
faded photos
blurring reality,
reshaping our memory.

They’re found
in dark corners of our minds,
some are ours,
others imprinted
from stories
over time.

Like a bulb nearing its end,
a memory flickers in the dark room
filled with paintings and baggage
collected through the years.

All scattered on the floor,
waiting to cover us
with warmth,
joy,
and tears.

This is an attempt
to record
some brief moments that flicker in my mind—
from 1979.
